Here are where some of our outstanding alumni are now:

Class of 2004

·         Stephanie Calvano, 2004 MIPO Excellence Award winner, MIPO supervisor and polling assistant, is University of New Haven to pursue her Masters in Management of Sports Industries

·        Bridget Maroney, 2004 MIPO Distinguished Service Award winner, MIPO supervisor and MPS coordinator, is an account manager at Institutional Investor in New York City

·        Shaliana Johnson, MIPO supervisor, is Lab Technologist at New York Presbyterian Hospital

·        Michael Massa, MIPO supervisor and media contact assistant, is working at CBS News Affiliate Relations

Class of 2003

·         Vanessa Benzinger, 2003 MIPO Excellence Award winner, MIPO supervisor and polling assistant, completed her Masters in Survey Research program at UConn and is now the Senior Research Analyst at Adelphi University

·         Katherine Slauta, 2003 MIPO Distinguished Service Award winner, MIPO supervisor and research assistant, is attending the Intercultural Communications Program at sunny San Diego State University

·         Erin Smith, 2003 Distinguished Service Award winner, MIPO supervisor and MPS coordinator, is a treatment coordinator at the Institute of Applied Human Dynamics

Class of 2002

·         Kristin Frye, MIPO  supervisor, has completed the MA in Survey Research Program at UConn

·         Delia Parada, MIPO bilingual interviewer and translator, completed the MA in Survey Research Program at UConn and is now in Technical Documentation at EG Product Engineering Solutions

·         Lisa Roberts, 2002 MIPO Excellence Award winner, MIPO interviewer and MPS coordinator, is a History teacher in Putnam County

Class of 2001

·         Matthew Daigle, 2001 MIPO Distinguished Service winner, MIPO  supervisor and media contact assistant, graduated from the journalism program at Medill-Northwestern University and is now a reporter and anchor for KNDU-TV in Washington 

·         Emily Hosford, 2001 MIPO Excellence Award winner, MIPO  survey operations manager, is now working as a special education teacher in Rhode Island

Class of 2000

·         Greg LaPointe, MIPO supervisor and field coordinator, completed his MA in Survey Research at UConn and is now a Research Analyst with the office of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning at National University in sunny southern California

·         Erica DeTraglia, MIPO  office assistant, is a student at Albany Law School

·         Meghann Quinlan French,  MIPO  supervisor, is working for Congresswoman Nita Lowey in Westerchester County

·         Matthew Vinciguerra, MIPO  supervisor, completed his MA in Survey Research at UConn and his JD from Albany Law School, and is now an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx

·         Bobbi Jo Fuller, MIPO  supervisor and MPS coordinator, completed her MA at UConn and is now self-employed with Access Survey Research

·         Kris Hart, MIPO  supervisor, was with the Peace Corps in Africa for a year and is now teaching elementary school in New York City

·         Sue Kenney, MIPO  supervisor and research assistant, completed her MA at UConn and is a Research Associate at Columbia University's Social Indicators survey Center

Class of 1999

·         Lark Anton, MIPO bilingual supervisor and research assistant, completed her MA in communications and is now Deputy Press Secretary for Mayor Michael Bloomberg in New York City

·         Colleen McCulloch, MIPO  supervisor and MPS coordinator, completed her MA at UConn and is now Senior Research Associate for GfK-Custom Research and an adjunct professor of Survey Research Methods

·         Robin Nowatkowski,  MIPO  supervisor, completed her MA at UConn and is now Manager of Research, Corporate Marketing at Cendant, a market research company in New Jersey

Class of 1998

·         April Brackett, MIPO  supervisor and polling assistant, completed her MA at UConn and is now a Research  Associate at the Kaiser Foundation in the Medical Survey Research division

·         Mike Blanchette, MIPO  supervisor, completed his MA at UConn and is now a Research Consultant at Taylor Research and Consulting in New Hampshire

·         Lisa Tortora, MIPO  supervisor and MPS coordinator, completed her MA at UConn and is now Client Services Manager at NFO World Group

Class of 1997

·         Janis Russell, MIPO  research assistant, completed her MA at UConn and is now a Senior Account Manager at PERT Survey Research, a market research company

·       Gina D'Angelo-Mullen, MIPO  supervisor,  is the Assistant Director of Public Relations for Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY

Class of 1995

·         Denise D'Andrea, MIPO  supervisor and office assistant, is a Training Associate at CFMC, the company that provides MIPO's interviewing software

·         Brian Smith, MIPO  supervisor, is the Director of Grass Roots Advocacy at the Food Marketing Institute in Washington, DC

·         Christine Wood, MIPO  supervisor and office assistant, completed her MA at the London School of Economics and is now the Manager of Information Technology at Iridium in Australia

Class of 1994

·         Edie Nardecchia, MIPO  supervisor and research assistant, is the Managing Director at Greenberg Associates, a Democratic polling company in Washington DC

Class of 1993

·         Jennifer Necci Dineen, MIPO  supervisor and research assistant, completed her Ph.D. in Political Science from UConn and is now Director of their Masters in Survey Research program at UConn

Class of 1992

·         April Amonica, MIPO  supervisor and office assistant, completed her MA in journalism at Medill, Northwestern University and is now a freelance writer at Fox 5 in NYC and a school instructor

Class of 1986

·         Andrew Crecca, MIPO  interviewer, completed his law degree at St. John's University and now has his own law firm in Happague, NY

·         Howard Mills, MIPO  interviewer, completed his MA at American University and is now a member of the New York State Assembly

Class of 1983

·         Chris McCann, MIPO  interviewer, is now President of 1-800-Flowers and is on the Marist Board of Trustees
