We will be conducting regular interviews of New York State throughout the upcoming election season. 2006 Student Awards

Alicia Buhse was awarded the 2006 MIPO Excellence Award. Alicia has worked as a MIPO interviewer, supervisor, Marist Poll Service Coordinator, and polling assistant. She will be working with Warren Mitofsky during this upcoming election season.

This year, the MIPO Distinguished Service Award was renamed in memory of Jill M. Carboni, senior polling assistant.  The 2006 Jill M. Carboni Distinguished Service Award was presented to Miranda McAuliffe at our End of Year Ceremony. Miranda worked as a MIPO interviewer, supervisor, and research assistant.  She interned with Gabe Pressman of WNBC and demonstrated a strong affinity for life in the newsroom.

Daniel Sturtevant was awarded Interviewer of the Year, 2006.
